EMERGING EXECUTIVE WOMEN PROGRAM

To enhance EWI's commitment to growing leaders, the Corporate Board launched this professional development program in January 2023. This program will advance the growth and development of our members by investing in their learning to help them achieve their career goals and impact their communities. Our two winners each received a grant to participate in a training or leadership program and were paired with a coach/mentor to complete six dedicated coaching sessions throughout the current EWI year. 

 


2024 WINNERS

Jordan Stocking | EWI of Omaha, Burlington Capital

          

Jordan has been in EWI for 8 years and represents Burlington Capital, where her role is Executive Assistant to the Chairman & CEO. When asked what she would use her award for, she stated: "Through targeted sessions on strategic thinking, effective communication, and decision-making, I am confident that I will gain the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of leadership effectively." Jordan also feels that this program is pivotal to her journey to her journey towards leadership excellence. Jordan has held many leadership positions in her Capter including serving as President in 2023-2024.

Amanda Landreth | EWI of Spokane, Spokane Teachers Credit Union

          

Amanda as been in EWI for 6 years. She represents Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU) where she serves as the Director of Lending Administration. When asked what she would use her award for, she stated: "Attending a women's leadership conference locally would afford me the chance to connect with fellow female leaders, gain valuable insights, and expand my network." She went on to say, "I see immense value in utilizing the funds for personalized executive coaching sessions, tailored to address the specific challenges that arise in my day-to-day leadership roles." I n addition to holding several board positions in her Chapter (including Chapter President), Amanda has also served on a few Corporate Committees.

 

2023 WINNERS

Conniee Gibson | EWI of Tulsa, Food On The Move

            

Conniee Gibson doesn't believe in the words, "I have to go to work," but rather "I GET to go to work today." With over 20+ years in the field of executive administration, she has extensive experience with all administrative tasks, including but not limited to calendar management, mentoring colleagues, extensive domestic travel, and organizational management. Conniee is an asset to any organization with a deepened servant-heart for her community. Her present role with Food On The Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma is most definitely a perfect match. 

Conniee's experience is not only in executive administration, but her leadership skills, outgoing and sincere personality led her to be named managing director for an international women's networking organization in Tulsa for over two years, in addition to her full-time employment. Membership of the local chapter grew over 800% in lass than nine months with her at the helm. Conniee believes that relationship building is key when it comes to being successful; both personally and professionally. Ongoing connectivity and follow-up are essential to successful relationship building. Conniee creates processes and has a from-start-to-finish fortitude that will encapsulate all levels of employees.

Conniee spends her spare time with the loves of her life, daughter, Abby, and fiance, Nick. She loves gardening, cooking, interior design, swimming in her pool, and is an avid music lover.

     
     

Christine (Farley) Cronkright | EWI of Harrisburg, Gannett Fleming, Inc.

          

Christine (Farley) Cronkright has more than 20 years expertise in creating strategic communications solutions across many different industries in the public and private sectors.

She is currently the internal communications manager at Gannett Fleming, Inc., a global infrastructure and engineering firm, where she develops and implements strategies that engage and educate the firm's 2,500+ employees. From the creation of an award-winning annual report, to promoting a proactive safety culture, to change communications to support new technologies and policies, she is dedicated to improving the employee experience. 

Christine was previously the director of marketing and communications at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association where she led efforts to get the banking industry involved in workforce and professional development, promote advocacy, and market relevant products/services to the association's more than 140 members. She was also the managing editor of paBanker magazine.

Prior to that, Christine served as deputy director of communications in the Pennsylvania Office of the Governor where she was the primary spokesperson in local, regional, and national media on all healthcare policy issues, including the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. This continued her previous work with the commonwealth as press secretary and director of communications at the Pennsylvania Department of Health, where she handled internal communications, media relations, crisis communications, digital communications, and marketing for a 1,600 person department, including 60 state health centers and six district offices. During her tenure, she led the department's award-winning public health crisis communications efforts related to Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. 

Christine spent the first half of her career as a public relations consultant at Tierney Communications serving clients in more than 15 different industries.
